It was a really enjoyable and quick read， starting the twisted serie was the best idea I ever had。 In my opinion， Twisted love is the weakest one of the serie but I love the Alex and Ava couple， especially in the other books。 All the plot twists were kinda predictable but it's still « fun »。 Please pick up the serie ！ PS : we deserve more epilogues。。 It was a really enjoyable and quick read， starting the twisted serie was the best idea I ever had。 In my opinion， Twisted love is the weakest one of the serie but I love the Alex and Ava couple， especially in the other books。 All the plot twists were kinda predictable but it's still « fun »。 Please pick up the serie ！ PS : we deserve more epilogues。。 。。。more

ALEX VOLKOV IS BATMAN… CHANGE MY MIND。 The amount of times he says “vengeance”， and then there is his constant brooding and his desire to seek revenge for the death of his parents。 And he is extremely wealthy and mysterious。 Anyway， enough of my theories。 I enjoyed reading this book， but it also didn’t sit right with me。 Ava Chen is sunshine， seeing only the good in everyone despite her messed up past that she can’t even remember。 When her older brother leaves for a trip， he places his best frie ALEX VOLKOV IS BATMAN… CHANGE MY MIND。 The amount of times he says “vengeance”， and then there is his constant brooding and his desire to seek revenge for the death of his parents。 And he is extremely wealthy and mysterious。 Anyway， enough of my theories。 I enjoyed reading this book， but it also didn’t sit right with me。 Ava Chen is sunshine， seeing only the good in everyone despite her messed up past that she can’t even remember。 When her older brother leaves for a trip， he places his best friend the rich， mysterious， brooding *cough， Batman*， Alex Volkov， in charge of watching her。 Alex has a messed up past of his own， and he’s so close to getting his revenge， but this just makes yet another hiccup in his plan。 Especially when his icy heart begins to melt， and Ava becomes his world。 It’s not an exaggeration that Ava becomes his world。 Like he literally will not leave her alone。 That’s what bothered me the most。 I understood his character traits from his backstory （which was so sad）， but DO NOT expect the Prince Charming in disguise。 Alex is no such thing and will say so repeatedly， even though he will burn the world for Ava。 But literally though。Despite this， I really liked Ava’s character。 She was fun and I sincerely cared about her problems and backstory。 Which is why I honestly felt sorry that she liked Alex so much。 There are times I wanted to punch him in the face。 But that’s just me， I am not big fan of overprotection tropes。 Which there is A LOT of in this book。 Overall it was a fun read， spicy， sad， a little maddening at times， but I enjoyed it enough that I spent most of my weekend reading it。 I look forward to reading the others because I do really like all the supporting characters！ 。。。more
